Rocker and Camber
It’s an old story:
We started manufacturing LTB models with reverse camber and those that were flat in 1988. In the 90s, we changed this to classic camber, which enabled better control of the edges when riding. Riders needed a board that enabled them to have more fun. The Rocker shape offers softer construction and is ideal for skate and jib styles of riding.
The utilization of new materials in the construction of snowboards made it possible to return to a reverse camber shape in park boards.
We offer three categories of camber:

LTB SOFT ROCKER collection
The Soft Rocker shape offers softer construction and is ideal for skate and jib styles of riding.
It has a flat shape on the contact points with a rocker camber between the bindings.
- Twin models are a park matter and with the Rocker camber this means a super ride, playing around and skate riding on slopes and in parks.
New –
The new Colt series with Colt directional and Colt Park twin models
Interesting fact –
The COLT has VERY lively construction that enables one to have the board under control and simultaneously have fun when riding. The Colt is a very all-round model that is lively in all snow conditions.
Colt Park is very stable on rails and enables riders to handle most of their jumps and the rocker will quickly teach them new tricks.
LTB POWER ROCKER collection
A Power Rocker shape with a double camber and a triple rocker camber with carbon and aramid reinforcements.
New –
CLASSIC Wood directional shape with a natural wood top sheet and rocker reverse camber
EELS white Rocker with a Twin core and directional shape.
CLASSIC freeride models with a rocker shape
TEAM - Big twin 171cm with carbon stripes. Try having fun freeriding. You will not be the fastest, but you will have lots of fun!
TEAM Super Wood is a solid sidewall sandwich with a wooden twin core and only composite fibres. In this twin we combine rocker flexible twin construction with hard and high-performance carbon-Kevlar material. This board has unbelievable handling attributes when riding on the edge, which holds its line in all snow no matter how hard and also has an energetic pop during jumps.
CLASSIC Wood is a model with a wide nose and tapered tail with a rocker camber that offers new freeride possibilities. It handles deep snow very well and is very easy to control, which is why it is ideal for riders who, for the time being, do not have much experience freeriding.
LTB CAMBER collection
An all-round board for people interested in park ramp and freeride models for those who understand camber construction and performance.
New –
EELS WOOD with a twin core and natural wood top sheet
SISA design with an elf fairy
Interesting fact –
EELS has a popular directional shape with a large nose and a smaller tail that is ideal for powder and with twin core construction is ideal for jumps and switch riding tricks, in short, a perfect all-rounder.
DIRECTIONAL Freeride collection
- A tapered directional board that is an all-rounder primarily meant for riding rather than jumping. Various models and combinations mainly for freeriding.
Tapered means the contact point of the tail is tapered as compared with the nose. Maximum tapered boards are labelled UT /Ultra Tapered/
New –
CLASSIC WOOD with a new design in combination with a natural wood top sheet
Interesting fact –
Ultra Tapered with King nose construction, the board with the widest nose on the market - 34cm. It has a longer and extremely wide nose and a tapered tail, with a small radius. The precise ratios between the wide nose, tapered tail and the radius create a precisely balanced extreme freeride combination board that simultaneously responds very quickly and precisely. Thanks to a small radius you can enjoy riding on harder surfaces.
Rocker Shape Revolution
Reverse camber, flat, and a combination of reverse and classic camber
All companies offer various forms of reverse camber and combinations thereof, designed for skate and jib riding styles. Riders wanted a board that enabled them to have more fun. The Rocker revolution offered a softer board with acceptable performance. More fun and amusement on a board that is easier to handle.
This reverse camber design first appeared in the 80’s. Some companies now offer the original idea of this shape in combination with new technology. The lower performance of the alternate camber is not liked by the fans of high-performance boards with classic camber. So, the riding community is beginning to split into two sides, the “classic camber” and “new rocker camber”.
LTB Rocker shape, reverse camber
We started manufacturing reverse camber and flat models in 1988. In the 90’s, we switched to classic camber, which enabled better edge control when riding. We offer riders, who live to ride in parks and love street jibbing, a softer snowboard with the ROCKER shape. The new materials utilized in the design of snowboards enabled us to return to the former reverse camber shape in park boards.
The Rocker design enables a rider to very quickly get control of and enjoy a ride. Models with this design have a softer flex while maintaining the overall stiffness of a board. When executing ollies and riding through curves, these boards respond quicker and easier, and riding switch becomes easy. Tricks are easier when jibbing, landing and when finishing tricks. Riding without “jamming” edges and falls.
Our models are designed as flat or continual reverse camber in the centre of a board that transitions to classic camber at the nose and tail
